Well, I was 12 when I got braces. It didn't hurt for me. all they do is use a device that keeps your mouth open during the process. Then, they dry out your mouth so the glue will stick. Then they add glue onto your teeth and apply the brackets. (This is painless) Then they add the wire and molar caps. (Molar Caps are probably the worst part although the do not hurt... well to me) Hope I helped! Good Luck!
I recently just got my braces taken off. Yes be prepared for a little pain at first but the pain soon wears away just stick to soft foods when your braces hurt which they probably will do everytime you get them tightened.
If they do hurt, what I used to do was, take some paracetemols to dim the pain.
It depends on how bad the teeth may be. Some orthodontists may just stick the braces on or they may put u in a palatal expander which has been known to cause discomfort. I was a lucky one and didn't need that. Other than that no it doesn't hurt. The doctor may change your wires which will hurt after so I recommend taking a pain killer before visits. They also do a procedure called bonding which is when the add more braces into your mouth or move old brackets around which will make your mouth sore. Other than that braces are a piece of cake! I had them when I was 9 and had them for about four years. And I also work in an orthodontists office so I can guarantee you that yes they will cause a little pain here and there but in the end you will have a beautiful smile and you will be very pleased.
If your braces don't hurt after a while after you get them your fine. It's actually better after a year because you are used to having them on.
The average wrestler gets paid about $50k a year.
They put cement on your teeth and put these little things that hold the wire on your teeth... its not fun, but it doesnt hurt, plus it doesnt hurt getting them off. I got mine off last year.
You can't get braces on baby teeth. The girl would have to have her permanent teeth first (and should, by the age of 13). Needing braces is a matter of genetics and heredity. Some people have perfectly straight teeth naturally. Others (like me!) have needed braces. ~ T
not really but what if he/she gets hurt (only under adult supervision not really but what if he/she gets hurt (only under adult supervision of courese!!! (its your kid rite?)
I've had braces for a year and they flatout hurt! They are unsightly and painful too! Even worse is the way they look! I've tried everything but the only one that I've liked is fishyfloss though it's not easy to get it's really easy to floss:> I hate braces }: (
It always hurts. Make sure the 17-year-old is gentle.
It hurts anybody, not just a 10 year old. But it doesn't hurt much and not for long. It is less painful than getting an injection.
No. A two year old can not have braces unless the lost at least 2 teeth and are fully grown in.
i was eleven when i got my braces and they cost about 8,000$
First of all you spelled hurt wrong, i changed it. But every animal gets hurt, dogs cats, lions , and many other animals. So yeah every animal.
