The mono virus, or the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) definitely has a lipid bilayer envelope. Since it is a member of the herpes virus family, all of them have a membrane layer or envelope.

The fun thing about mono is that it is called the 'kissing disease' because it is transmitted by kissing right on the mouth. It goes by another term called infectious mononucleosis.
