I was searching for the same question to be answered...the answer I found is...NYS will only cover the deductible that Medicare does not pay. In other words, I am assuming, unless you are also on Medicare, Medicaid does not pay for chiropractic care. It seems that it is just about the only state that does not.
I have humana insurance i need to know if you will pay for my care in a skilled nursing home weekly or monthly
This is a difficult question, as there is no such thing as free stuff. Someone always has to pay! - Are you asking if the government should use our tax dollars to pay for retired athletes chiropractic care? - Are you asking if chiropractors should donate their time to treat retired athletes? - Are you asking if insurance companies should pay for chiropractic care for retired athletes (right now most insurance companies already pay for chiropractic care for athletes and non-athletes). In all three of these cases, someone still has to "pay", so its never "free". The question becomes, who should pay? Chiropractors? Athletes? The public (via taxes)? Insurance companies?

There are lots of different kinds of health insurance. Some offer partial coverage for chiropractic. Some have HSA/FSA plans that allow you to set funds aside for health care you choose, including chiropractic. Some policies pay a percentage of chiropractic fees, some limit the number of visit, others offer no coverage at all. If chiropractic is important to you, make sure you choose a policy that covers it.
