Apparently floaters and sinkers are both acceptable, but sinkers are more common. The cause of the floater was thought to be fat content, which plays a small role, but it is mostly the amount of gas bubbles. There are other factors to what constitutes "healthy" poo, such as color and consistency. If it's often pale, then there may be an absorption problem caused by something like celiac disease. If it's loose for two weeks or more, it's also an indication of a GI problem such as an acute infection.
