Does equasym XL cause mood swings?

All ADHD/ADD medication will cause mood changes due to the neuro-biological effect that they are having, usually straight after the drug has taken effect and when it is wearing off. But they all affect people differently, e.g Ritalin (methyphenidate hydro-chloride) is my preferred choice. Equasym, is just thats chemical but in a modified release capsule so it lasts longer and is less extreme.

My advice would be to try and find a medication that fits your schedule, so long as your mood doesn't change too dramatically, you should be ok.
