The only medications that can cause a false positive on a home pregnancy test are those than contain hCG (the hormone that is released when you're pregnant) itself. If you are taking fertility medications with hCG - e.g. Novarel, Profasi, Pregnyl - please consult your doctor regarding appropriate times and circumstances for testing. Other fertility drugs and medications that do not contain hCG will not precipitate false positive results. Similarly, progesterone will not cause a false positive as well. I am not a doctor myself, but by looking at the drug, benzodiapam, it does not look like it contains that hormone. Call your doctor and ask to be sure, however.
Azithromycin won't affect a pregnancy test; pregnancy tests are dependant on hormone levels and azithromycin antibiotic doesn't affect hormone levels.
Marijuana does not affect the results of a home pregnancy test. The test looks for the presence of the hormone hCG in urine, which is produced during pregnancy. Marijuana does not interfere with this hormone or the test's ability to detect it.
It would not make a difference. If you are pregnant please think about quiting cigarettes. It not only smoking marijuana but consuming any kind of drug will affect the pregnancy test results.
No, methamphetamine will not affect the accuracy of an at-home pregnancy test. These tests work by detecting the presence of the hormone hCG in urine, which is only produced during pregnancy.
Depo Provera shots do not effect the results of home pregnancy tests, nor do they "hide" a pregnancy.
No, it won't change the results so they are still reliable
Yes. Home pregnancy tests actually give accurate results in the first trimester, some as early as the first few weeks of pregnancy.
No. But for best results when taking an at-home pregnancy test: * Take the test in the morning, if possible, because your hCG (pregnancy hormone) levels are at it's highest * Don't drink a bunch of fluids before taking the test because it will dilute your urine and can affect the results * Take the test no more than 1-2 days before expected period. Although some test say that you can see results up to 5 days before your missed period the percentage of accuracy is very low. * urinate for as long as possible on the foam like strip * wait for the results
No kind of food can affect HPT's, but if you are testing early & drink a lot of water before the test, it could come out a false neg. The water dilutes your urine.
Yes. You should wait around 14 to 16 days after sex to take a home pregnancy test.
No, methamphetamine use does not affect the accuracy of a pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests detect the presence of the hormone hCG in urine, which is not influenced by methamphetamine use.
if you have only 1 line after taking your home pregnancy test it mean that you are NOT pregnant, and if there are 2 lines on your home pregnancy test, then you are pregnant but should go to a docotor to confirm it.
