Absolutely not. The practice of circumcision is a religious rite dating back to before the Egyptians it was taken up by the Jews then the Muslims and is also practiced by a few other primitive cultures throughout the world. so called medical reasoning was introduced in English speaking society's by the English and was promoted in an effort to stop boy from masturbating. this practice was held responsible for causing disease and insanity. over time the reasoning for maintaining this form of genital mutilation changed it never the less has not yet been stamped out. No mainstream medical fraternity anywhere in the world recommends it. It is in fact a practice that damages the penis for all time. the foreskin protects the sensitive glans penis from mechanical damage as well as infection it also serves many other purposes. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE CIRCUMCISED Les then 20% of the men in the world are not intact. (circumcised)

There is no reason why a male should be circumcised, MGM of this sort is a religious rite and serves no health related purpose. The foreskin is an important and very usefull part of the penis.

It would depend on the circumstances. It is not absolutely necessary to circumcise infants for prophylactic measures, but there are some very rare medical conditions where the only treatment is circumcision but most problems with the intact penis can be treated non-invasively.

No, circumcision has no known medical benefit, and no major medical body recommends routine circumcision. Circumcision generally should not be performed unless there is a medical reason making it necessary. Circumcision has risks of adverse events including pain, prolonged bleeding, infection, complications of sedation or anesthesia, and surgical error resulting in damage to the penis.

Complications are also common after circumcision if the remaining skin grows to fuse with the head of the penis. This disfigures the penis head and makes further surgery on the penis necessary. Circumcision has also been shown to reduce the sensitivity of the penis, making sexual activity less pleasurable. The vast majority of men in the world are uncircumcised, but circumcision is practiced in some religious groups such as Judaism and in some sects of Islam. Circumcision was once common in the United States. During the 1970s and 1980, around 80% of male infants were circumcised in the United States. A study conducted in the United States from 2006-2008 found that circumcision rates had fallen to below 40% in most of the United States. In the western United States, fewer than 25% of infant males were circumcised in 2006-2008.

No.

The practice of circumcision is done for both medical and religious reasons.

Medically speaking, circumcision provides only a hygeinic benefit. An uncircumcised penis operates just as well as a circumcised one.

Most religions do not require circumcision. Since there are over 35000 forms of Christianity and many other religions, it is better to seek answers about a particular religion's dogma when considering circumcision.
