I know that I went thru a day were I thought I was having a heart attack. I went to the ER 2 times in 1 weekend. The results that the doctor said was that " I was not having a heart attack but that I had pulled muscles' around my heart" I have been trying to find more information on-line about this but with not much results. I did every test except for the stress test which I will have my family doctor do on the 9th of December. If you find anymore news I look forward to reading it. Lalita Sundari
you cannot pull a muscle in your heart cause there are no bones that connect to the heart. alternatively there are no muscles close by. you probably misheard your DR. or he said you have pulled a muscle near your heart like an intercostal muscle (between rib muscle) and the pain of that can feel similar to the chest pain people feel when they are havng a heart attack.
No because your heart is a muscle so there are no muscles within the heart.
No, the heart is a muscle which pumps blood around the body
The cardiac muscle is also known as the heart. The heart function is to pump blood around the body.
The circulatory system = the heart + the blood vessels. The heart is a muscle, but the muscle fibers are slightly different to skeletal muscle. Arteries has a thin layer of muscle cells that surround them so that they can constrict or expand the blood vessels in order to regulate blood pressure.
The muscle of a sheep's heart is thick for the same reason our heart muscle is thick. It is thick as it has to pump blood around the body, and so it is under a lot of pressure.
Heart, brain, stomach, digestion these are some of the organs but they all have muscle around it but the brain has some muscle.
"Myo-" means muscle and "-cardium" means heart. So myocardium is heart muscle. It's the stuff that actually does the work of contracting the heart to pump blood around.
The three types of muscle are the 1) Cardiac muscle (which is only located in the heart.. your heart's made of this muscle) 2) Skeletal muscle (muscle that is around your bones) 3) Smooth muscle (Located in hollow internal structures such as blood vessels, stomach, etc)
Your heart is a muscle. It is also called the myocardium. The muscle cells in the heart muscle are called myocardiocytes.
the heart is made out of a special type of muscle called cardiac muscle
rhabdomyosarcomas is a type of cancer in the heart. it is fatal, and is mainly caused by damaged tissue or muscle in or around the heart
