There is no such thing as "a little infected". It's one or the other but not a little. You need to be on a routine of good oral hygiene and not a little here a little there. If you are getting discharge from the piercing and it's greenish and the tongue is swelling and sore get your butt into the hospital or clinic right now. MRSA is a very hard to fight bacterial infection that can be deadly if left untreated. You don't goof with piercings and piercing health. See your Doctor if you think you have an infection in your tongue piercing.

generally pregnancy does not interfere with piercings. if your pregnant and you have your belly button pierced, put a zip tie or long bar in it so the piercing will not tear. its likely that if your tongue is infected that it is not pregnancy related. try getting a long bar, and see if that helps.
