What are the first signs of hear attack?
The first sign would be chest pain or pain down the left side of your body that last more than a few hours. Also being light headedness, or any anxiety accompanied with shortness of breath and rapid heart rate.
I am almost six weeks pregnant and my heart is beating so much faster it feels like anxiety which gives me shortness of breath. Has anyone else has had this and will it effect the pregnancy?
I'm at 5 weeks, almost going on 6 and I'm starting to get that racing heart. I'm out of breath going up steps, too, which is ridiculous! Last night, when I was working out and I got to the machine that reads your pulse, it was at 140 beats per minute and typically it's around 80 when I get on it. I've heard it's totally normal for heart rate to increase because our bodies are creating more blood for the new baby or something. No worries!
Is shortness of breath a common symptom of Lexapro?
Not sure when this question was asked, but I've been having terrible shortness of breath on Lexapro. Especially while coming down from 20mg to 5mg, which is where I am now. I've been doing it slow, but I developed shortness of breath that would last for hours. I've been to the ER 4 times for it. I thought for sure I had something wrong with my heart. I had right lung lower lobe lobectomy January of 2007. I still experience shortness of breath and use oxygen during extended activity. The pain of the staples is daily. I still feel it with every breath. I miss my old life, cannot hike mountains anymore. I still have numbness in side and chest. like a pins & needles feeling. 6/12/09. 2 1/2 years later. now they may have to remove the lobe above it.
