Spirits that are 40% alcohol by volume or higher can be stored at room temperature, even after opening.
Once spirits have been combined with mixer, they should be served immediately or kept refrigerated. Even with refrigeration, fruit juices in the mixer will begin to oxidize, giving a flavor that is noticeably "off", after two or three days.
Liqueurs, apertifs, bitters and other drinks that are less than 20% ABV, like Chambord, curacao, vermouth, sherry and should be refrigerated after opening, if they will not be consumed within a week or two.
