…it can bring hope to so many!
HIV is very sensitive to sunlight and even a little heat would destroy but thought to be so in vitro sense (outside the body).
If we do it in the in vivo sense (inside the body) by drawing venous (or arterial) blood into a machine which can irradiate the blood with a light simulating sunlight over days and weeks maybe we can not only reduce the viral load, as well slough out the infected cells which are permanently infected by the virus. This machine model can have the facility to mix antiviral drugs, nutrients and other medicines as well. It would work on the principle of haemodialysis.
Of course, the patient would need to be hospitalised and oxygenated as well. It would require the collaboration of radiologists, microbiologists, physicians and of course the engineers to materialise this kind of in vivo study.
…it would be a divine sunshine within!
yes it can bot not cured i think.
You get diagnosed with a blood test, and a personalized protocol is placed as a perscription.
Yes. An example could be the HIV virus eventually leading to A.I.D.S. if left un-treated.
No, pulling out will not avoid HIV infection.
That is what HIV does. However a super infection, multiple strains of HIV infection or duel infection,HIV with hep c etc will degrade the immune system further.
Medications used to treat HIV infection are not focused on killing the virus. Viruses are very small and difficult to treat. HIV medications focus on inhibiting the virus' ability to replicate. Essentially they meds are geared at slowing down the progression of the infection, not eliminating the virus.
HIV is a viral infection.
Advanced stage of HIV infection is AIDS.
Is atypical lymphocytes a symptom of HIV infection?"
In essence it is both; the HIV infection occurs which leads to the disease AIDS.
No; there is no cure for HIV infection.
HIV is NOT TREATABLE. HIV attacks your immune system.
