Biceps lies anterior whereas triceps is posterior
The triceps are located on the back of the arm. The quadriceps are located on the front of the thigh.
the upper arm is located between the shoulder joint and elbow joint. It contains four muscles - three in the anterior compartment (biceps brachii, brachialis, coracobrachialis), and one in the posterior compartment (triceps brachii). In this article, we shall look at the anatomy of the muscles of the upper arm - their attachments, innervation and actions.
The bicep is in you arm from your elbow to your shoulder
The cubital fossa is an endangerment site located in the anterior elbow. This is a triangular depression on the anterior aspect of the elbow formed by the biceps brachii muscle laterally and the brachioradialis muscle and pronator teres muscle medially.
Biceps brachii
The main muscles that move the forearm are the biceps brachii, brachialis, and brachioradialis on the anterior side, and the triceps brachii on the posterior side. These muscles work together to flex, extend, and rotate the forearm.
biceps and triceps
The muscle in the back of the thigh is the hamstring, or the biceps femoris to be technical.
The musculocutaneous nerve innervates the muscles in the anterior compartment of the arm, including the biceps brachii and brachialis. It also provides sensory innervation to the skin on the lateral surface of the forearm.
The biceps femoris is located next to the gluteus medius
