Many people inherit the genetic predisposition to become mentally il from a family member. Many mood, behavior or emotional or thought process problems are not genetic and are often from physical ailments, medication problems, and most often from environmental factors. These factors can be being reared in a dysfunctional home, abuse, rape, trauma, PTSD, divorce, pathological grief and many other causes. I don't have any statistical numbers for you.
