I'm not sure what you mean by this question but many models get asked why they want to become models, what their goals are for the future, and if there are any bad aspects to being a model.
i dont know thats why i asked
democracy
Woodrow Wilson felt that not entering into World War I would be bad for democracy. When speaking to Congress he asked for a Declaration of War against Germany so that the world could be made safe for democracy.
The question is meaningless as asked: democracy and socialism cannot be contrasted that way. Democracy is a political term describing how a government is formed, and socialism is an economic term describing how people are treated.

i dont know..that's why i asked the question in the first place.
ummm. i think 60.... whoever asked this is stupid!!
senatorsIt is called a direct democracy. The USA has is a direct democracy, because we choose a small group of people to make laws for us. (ex. presidents, governors, senators)(Oh and btw ignore the senators answer above this one because while they are right that a senator is in a direct democracy that does, by no means, answer the question asked.)
If you mean politicians they can be impeached or asked to resign. They all have specific terms though except for Supreme Court posts which are for life.
A fair election, Mexico recently went through the process of a transition to democracy, and the first thing people asked the government is to uphold the popular vote above everything else now we are the most democratic nation in the world.
