You go to the DMV in your area and have them do a lien check. If the title is from out of state you must contact that state dmv for the same purpose. If a lien-holder is noted on the front of the title, you may also contact them to determine if the lien has been released. Obtain a copy of the release statement.
im lookin to find who has title to car.
Hmmm... you bought a car without getting a title? NOT a good idea. The title will state whether the car is clean or salvage or totaled/reconstructed. If you didn't get the title when you purchased the car you better make sure the car wasn't stolen. Call the state DMV with the VIN number for starters. They'll be able to give you some info on the car and the title.

It means that the car was damaged, but was not reported as a salvage title. A PS Title is Pre-Salvage. It is a clean original title on a car that in most cases should have been transferred as a salvage title, but for whatever reason was not.
Sounds to me like you possibly have a stolen car. Anytime you purchase a used car make sure the title and registration belong to the seller and ask for ID. Better yet, before you buy the car, take the title number and call the DMV to find out who the correct owner is and if the title is clean. Hopefully, you can track the seller down. Good luck!
Nope. Not legally anyway. The best you can do is totaled/reconstructed' if the car is roadworthy. Once issued a salvage title a car can never be issued a clean title legitimately.
No. Every vehicle has to have a title , I believe after 1972. The vehicle cannot be transferred unless there is a clean title to it.
no
has or is there a free sight for car title check
It can of course mean it is a clean car meaning it is not dirty. Or it can mean it is a clean machine meaning it is sharp of nice looking. It can also mean it has a clean title, meaning there is no lien on the vehicle.
It worth appx 60% of the value of a comparable clean titled car so if it is worth $5000 with a clean title it's worth roughly $3000 with a salvage title.
is the title clean to buy the car theft also
