Why do the good die young?

"Only the Good Die Young"was a song title in the 1970's and became a phrase. It could be that when you are young,you haven't had time to turn bad as such. But, bad people can die young just as good people can live to be very old. So the phrase is a myth I would assume.

After listening to the song, I take this less literal. I don't see it as the good actually DYING, but the fact that they don't have 'fun' makes them dead..Kind of because they aren't "living" by letting go and being rebellious.

1. First, NONE of us truly know the heart of another person, nor can / should we judge ANYone.
2. Second, a very "goodhearted" person might just have the most awful genes and family histor
3. Third, a great person can still make very poor choices that result in their death. For example, if a "bad" person ran into a burning fire to rescue a child, but died during this heroic act, people might say, "well, the world is better off without that bad person." But if a "good" person ran into the same fire, people might say, "why do the GOOD people die before their time?"
   
4. Fourth, NO ONE KNOWS FATE. Whether you believe in God or not, no one can predict the day of death, even if the person is expected to die.
5. Many religions think a person dies when their job is done on earth. Perhaps a person seems "bad" but their job is not done. But none of us know this.
