Centarian
80 to 89.
A person who is 50-59 years old is called a quinquagenarian.
I would say ages 12 - 50 I think the first response is about right for the low age. Many questions seem to be asked by junior high students trying to get their homework done without much effort. But, on the high end, 50 is much too low. Many of us geezers are in our 60s and I am sure there must be an octogenerian or two in the crowd.
Some words with the prefix octa- are octagon, octahedron, octaves, octane, and octarchy. The prefix has the meaning of eight. For example, an octagon is an eight-sided polygon, and an octarchy is a government run by eight people.
