The weather in different parts of the UK varies due to factors such as latitude, proximity to the ocean, and topography. For example, the north tends to be cooler and wetter due to its higher latitude and exposure to prevailing westerly winds, while the south generally experiences milder temperatures influenced by warm ocean currents. Additionally, mountainous regions like Scotland and Wales can create local variations in weather patterns.
