Sir Issac Newton was educated at the Free Grammar School in Grantham in Lincolnshire and then Trinity College, Cambridge. There he obtained his Bachelors and Masters and was appointed Lucasian Professor of Mathematics in 1669.

When Sir Issac Newton was 12 he attended the King's School in Grantham, England. He was pulled out due to much needed help on his mother's farm but could not be turned into a farmer and finish his education there at age 18. After the King's School Newton went to Trinity College in Cambridge, England.
