Good question... With the information in my science classes, OIL does not dissolve in anything. But in my opinion I believe it is possible for oil to dissolve. I think oil may dissolve in acids, or any type of chemical. Oil can also dissolve when placed in boiling water for a period of time. Hope this helps! Good luck
Giant covalent substances like diamond tend not to dissolve in anything. Non polar molecular substances such as hydrocarbons are not attracted to water.
what does not turn dissolve in water is you! our bodies cannot melt in water
A skittle would dissolve faster in Coke.
Polar substances are miscible (will dissolve) in each other and non-polar substances will dissolve in each other. "Like dissolves like!" Mineral oil is non-polar. Hexane is a six carbon chain and is also non-polar. Water on the other hand is polar because it contains an electronegative oxygen.
Substances that are nonpolar or nonpolar complexes, such as lipids, certain flavors, and some drugs, dissolve best in oil. Examples include essential oils, vitamin A, and vitamin E. Oil is not able to dissolve polar substances like water-soluble vitamins or salts.
yes
oil does not dissolve

i dont know how oil dissolve in oil
No. Under normal circumstances oil and water are immiscible (they will not mix)
Due to the density of the oil it is unable to dissolve a lolly
No
Petroleum ether is a nonpolar solvent, while vegetable oil is a nonpolar substance. Since like dissolves like, petroleum ether should be able to dissolve in vegetable oil to some extent.

YES..by vegetable oil or any ordinary oil..^^
Oh, dude, if you mix sugar and oil, you'll basically just have sugar-coated oil. The sugar won't dissolve in the oil because they have different polarities, so you'll end up with a sweet, gritty mess that's probably not very tasty. It's like trying to mix oil and water... it just doesn't work, man.
