Sir Isaac newton was an English physicist and mathematician who is widely regarded as one of the most influential scientists of all time and as a key figure in the scientific revolution.
He was the scientist who formulated laws of gravity (better know as three laws of Motion)
5th grade students are taught Newton's laws of motion and students learn it till graduation and above levels as well.
The first law is law of inertia states that an object at rest tends to stay at rest and that an object in uniform motion tends to stay in uniform motion unless acted upon by a net external force
The Second law is states Force is equal to mass X its acceleration
The Third law states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
All the above three were derived after Newton seeing an apple falling from a tree and he thought why is this apple falling down and not going up. This triggered him to discover the Laws of Motion.
Gravity is a term coined by Sir Isaac Newton. Newton discovered Gravity. He noticed this phenomena in the world famous story when an Apple fell down from a tree under which Newton was sitting, and Newton thought, as to why the apple fall down and not upwards or sideways. Hence leading to his discovery of Gravity.
Sir Isaac Newton was born 4th January 1643. He grew up on his step-father's farm.
he developed what we know today as calculus. he also "finished" many other theories that other "famus mathmations" before him left behind after they passed away.
today is April 29th 2011 and he would be 369 years of age
Because he is one of the greatest mathematicians ever, he discovered things like Newtons laws of motion, Newtonian fluids, Newton-Raphson method and many more... All those laws still apply today! check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Newton

Isaac Newton discovered the force of gravity, which continues to influence and affect us today.

Issac Newton and Leibniz developed it independently. Newton discovered it first, but kept it to himself. Leibniz, on the other hand, published. Newton accused Liebnitz of stealing his ideas, thus starting a long feud between the two. Today, they are both recognized as being the founding fathers of calculus. It is however, Leibniz's notation of the calculus that has flourished.
The history of Isaac Newton began on January 4th in 1643 when he was born. He went on to become a very famous scientist and mathematician. His work is still studied today.
Isaac Newton would likely feel surprised and honored to be famous in today's time. He may appreciate the recognition for his groundbreaking contributions to physics and mathematics, but also may have been modest and focused on his work rather than seeking fame.

Newton is used to measure force,,,,,,, since from netwon's period till today force is present ...... therefore newton is used till now to measure force
In 1887 they started as Newton Heath but today they are called Manchester United.
No. It works fine. There is an image for google today which drops an apple from the apple tree conveying Sir Issac Newtons Birthday today.
yes very indeed they were the buliding blocks of science and many other thing with out them scientist would be baffled by our technologies today
