Science are activities that conforms to the scientific method. A summary of the scientific method that I was taught was that you publish a paper and all your colleages try and prove you wrong! Originally, the scientific method was proposed by Ibn al-Haytham in the 10th century as the search for truth; in the scientific method truth is the most important thing.

Pseudoscience are activities that purport to be scientific but don't conform to the scientific method. The following criteria have been suggested to detect pseudoscience:

* Use of vague, exaggerated or untestable claims * Over-reliance on confirmation rather than refutation * Lack of openness to testing by other experts * Absence of progress * Personalization of issues * Use of misleading language Non-science are activities that don't purport to be scientific.

Science and pseudoscience both use complicated chains of reasoning. Of course, the quality of the logic is much better for actual science than it is for pseudoscience. But the complexity can be equal for both.

Pseudoscience often borrows the science-sounding words and phrases of real science to confuse its victims. Astrology sounds like astronomy and uses terms like ascension, conjunction and cusp in the same way magicians use words in pseudo Latin (abracadabra and hocuspocus) as part of their act to make themselves sound like religious rites.

What the problems of the Dermacation criterion and Experience-theory gap are?

The demarcation criterion problem refers to the challenge of clearly defining the boundary between science and pseudoscience, as there is no universally agreed-upon criteria. The experience-theory gap refers to the discrepancy between empirical evidence and theoretical explanations in certain scientific fields, leading to difficulties in making accurate predictions or drawing meaningful conclusions. Both issues highlight the complexities of distinguishing between science and non-science, and the limitations of theory in explaining certain phenomena.
