i think its just wrong to choose what you want you child to be. i mean yeah you want what you want but if your wanting a child let it be what god made it to be.. i mean don't you think you child once it found out that you made it what it is and that child knowing what it could of been if you didnt mess with it .. if my parents did that to me i would be ashamed. let it come natural people.. its beautiful in its own way.. why would you want that done anyways. yeah of couse your hoping you get a boy.. or hoping you get a girl... but so what if you didnt get what you wanted the first time try agagin and still love the child as much as you would if it was what you wanted... you still created it, you still got a chld out of it.. what more could you want.. i mean granted im only 16 and dont have a child yet.. but still im allowed to have an oppinion. and i think it should be illegal to choose your offspring...

when humans breed an animal for a certain trait.
In natural selection, the animals take time and evolve slowly. In selective breeding, humans can transfer genes from one organism into another organism.
selective breeding; been going on for thousands of years. genetic engineering; been going on for decades.
its all based on ressesive vs. dominate traitts and backround and luck.
The process of hybridization.
Breeding is just breeding any pair of parents together to get offspring, whereas selected breeding is choosing a certain set of parents and targeting a few specific traits you want the offspring to have, such as fur length, coloration, or body shape.
Artificial selection is a process where humans selectively breed plants or animals to develop specific desired traits. This is done by choosing individuals with the desired traits and allowing them to reproduce, passing on those traits to their offspring. Over time, this selective breeding can lead to the development of new varieties or breeds with the desired traits.
Is the process by which humans use animal breeding and plant breeding to selectively develop particular phenotypic traits. So males and females will sexually reproduce and have an offspring together.
Selective breeding for particular traits
Selective breeding, which is the process of choosing specific organisms with desirable traits to breed in order to produce offspring with those desired traits. This practice is commonly used in agriculture to improve the genetic characteristics of livestock and crops.
The term commonly used to refer to the breeding of improved varieties of plants and animals is "selective breeding." This process involves choosing individuals with desirable traits to mate and produce offspring with those traits, ultimately leading to improved genetic characteristics in the population.
Mendel obtained plants that were true-breeding for particular traits by ensuring that they were self-fertilized for several generations until they consistently produced offspring with the same trait. This allowed him to establish pure breeding lines that consistently exhibited the desired traits in subsequent generations.
Pure breeding in genetics refers to the process of breeding individuals that have the same genetic makeup for a particular trait over multiple generations. This results in offspring that consistently exhibit the same trait as the parents. Pure breeding impacts the inheritance of traits by ensuring that specific traits are passed down consistently from one generation to the next, leading to predictable outcomes in offspring.
A technique in which breeders select particular traits to be passed on is called? A)Natural Selection B)Artificial Selection C)Darwin Selection D)Synthetic geneology
This process is called selective breeding or artificial selection. It involves intentionally choosing which individuals will reproduce in order to pass on specific desirable traits to future generations. This technique has been used for centuries to develop specific characteristics in domestic animals and plants.
This process is known as selective breeding or artificial selection. By selecting organisms with desirable traits and breeding them together, breeders can pass on those favorable traits to future generations, gradually improving the overall quality of the population. This method is commonly used in agriculture, livestock production, and pet breeding to produce organisms with specific traits such as disease resistance, growth rate, or appearance.
Selfing, self fertilization until the offspring showed not deviation from the parental stock.
