Yes, if you have an open mind. There are very many different types of music and some of them are similar. Many types of western music are based on major and minor chords such as rock and roll, blues, country, reggae, rhythm and blues and others. If you listen you'll find similarities in chord patterns and bass lines. I find the more you know about music and how it's made makes you appreciate different genres. Sometimes it may take a lot of patience and determination to listen to different styles other than what you like, but it will be rewarding in the long run.

Pretty sure you can get high off Heavenly Blues and Flying Saucers, but I don't which are better. And I'm sure there may be other kinds that work too. If you figure it out, post it!
