No it is not. The appendix is used to house anaerobic bacteria that assist in the breakdown of cellulose from plant material. In humans, the appendix is considered to be a vestigial organ which serves no useful purpose due to its small size, but the appendix is vital to many other animals with a primarily vegetarian diet.
Styrofoam plates do not decompose, This makes them unsafe for the environment. Paper or plastic plates should be used since they can be recycled.
Decomposers break down dead, dying, or decaying organic material (e.g. dead animals) into their original organic components - Carbon, phosphates, nitrates, etc. and returns them to the soil. They can then be used by producers/autotrophs for growth, and are passed on to consumers, etc.
Enzymes in washing powder are catalysts (they speed up reaction without being used themeselves). They bond with a particular molecule only. Proteases break down proteins, so are good for blood, egg, gravy, and other protein stains. Amylases break down starches, and lipases break down fats and grease. Washing powders usually only contain one type of enzyme, though some have two or all three.
A bomb
Organisms use all types of sugars, ex. we eat lactose (milk) fructose (fruit) and sucrose (white sugar used in cooking) . Organisms break the sugars down into their parts, ex lactose= galactose+glucose
A knife and a meat saw. A meat cleaver can be used instead of the meat saw however the cuts with the cleaver are never as clean as those with a saw.
appendix, used to produce chemicals to digest raw meat, and now not really needed
The appendix The Appendix likely was once a vital part of our digestive systems, helping us digest the raw meat we at as Neanderthals. However, in today's health-consious world, most people eat little to none raw meat, so the appendix serves no purpose. The Appendix also is a common ailment, as when it bursts it must be removed or the toxins contained within the appendix will kill it's owner.
Gelatinization can be used to break down bonds. It is used to break down starches which makes a jelly. This is used during cooking in order to suspend foods such as meat and vegetables in a dish.
Enzymes are used to break down food.
The appendix is a dead-end tube in the intestines. It has no function, and it causes problems in many people, in the form of appendicitis, which is a disease caused by the appendix. When people contract appendicitis, they must get surgery to have their appendix removed.
The machine used to break down castle walls and gates was called a battering ram. They also used catapults to break down the walls.
The term "aging" is often used these days with regards to the tenderising of meat. People used the word hung instead, but I guess aging sounds more appealing. The word hung derived from the fact the meat would be hung using a meat hook in a cool refrigerated space with good air circulation. This process allows the natural enzymes in the meat to break down and improve how tender the meat is. Often you will see steaks labelled in a supermarket as "aged for 21 days".
Antibodies are not used to break down food.
Enzymes are used to break them down. There are many enzymes
There is no longer a function for our appendix in modern society, it is left over from our prehistoric predecessors. Some times it can collect food and bacteria, causing its self to rupture, since it no longer can function at respelling its own contents
Bile is used to break down lipase during digestion.
