All fossil found to date were missing link. Missing link is a non-scientific term describe new found transitional fossil. Any single fossil found and placed along the line of evolution would yield 2 new missing link mathematically.

Missing link is a loose non-scientific term for the fossil or species in between the 2 fossil. It is more appropriate to be called transitional fossil. New missing link always been found since once we place missing link between the line of evolution, those in between can always been found to fill these continuous gaps. It would be the same as finding number between 1 and 2 by allowing unlimited decimal place.
