Depends on the rower. The key to rowing longer distances is to plan how to conserve your energy so that you are able to finish the distance comfortably.
I'm a very experienced female rower (age 41), currently in training for ocean rowing. I'm quite fit, and rowed 20 K today. It took me 98 minutes, on a low-ish rating to conserve energy.
I would expect a very fit male rower in peak condition to be able to finish the distance much faster, but a beginner would take a lot longer, if they could do it at all.
20 km is more than 9000 m:20 km = 20 000 m > 9000 m
The time it takes to walk 1.8 km depends on the individual's walking speed. On average, a person walking at a moderate pace of about 5 km/h would take approximately 21-22 minutes to cover 1.8 km. However, factors such as terrain, fitness level, and walking speed can all affect the time it takes to walk this distance.
63 - you multiply kilometers with minutes
A kilometre is roughly five eights of a mile, so divide by eight and multiply by five. More precisely: 20 kilometers are 12.42742 miles.20 kilometers are 12.42742 miles. The formula to convert 20 km to miles:20 km*1 mi1.609344 km=12.42742384 mi
360 ÷ 40 = 9 hours (Note: every hour you will have travelled 40 km.)
20 minutes
120 km in 1 hour 20 km in (1/120) x 20 = 1/6 hour or 10 minutes
About 20 minutes. (At least that's how long I take.)
2 km = 1.2 miles. At a normal pace it should take about 20-25 minutes to walk that far.
21 hours 20 minutes
Approximately 11.3 hours... or 11 hours 20 minutes.
400 ÷ 20 = 20 hours (though it is unlikely that the speed would be constant!)
It depends on the speed at which the train is traveling. At 100 km/h it will take approximately 20 minutes.
That would be 2045 km divided by 100 km/hr. This will give you 20.45 hours which translates to 20 hours and 27 minutes.
It will travel that distance in 15 minutes.
I myself cannot cycle to the center of the earth.
It would take approximately 20 hours to travel to the moon at a speed of 50,000 km per hour. This calculation is based on the average distance from Earth to the moon, which is about 384,400 km.
