Depending on the design a Voltmeter can give an output in terms of peak to peak voltage and also can be used to measure a DC voltage, both of which are very different measurements to an RMS voltage
The peak wavelength, is connected to the temperature of the objects. we have short peak wavelength when the temperature is high.
The current will increase and will flow more. If voltage increases, current must increase.
