water can't actually reach that temperature because temperature is actually a measurement of how fast the particles in an object are moving. once they reach boiling point (100) the water particles cant go any faster and so they evaporate and change into a gas. if you left the water on the heat then it would eventually all evaporate and there would be nothing left in the container. if you put a lid on the container it would explode because the particle's would have no where to escape.
Is way past boiling point. The Kelvin units of measurement for temperature works with Celsius in such a way: K= C-273 That conversion is not exact (the number is not exactly 273) however it gets the point across. ================================================= This contributor begs to differ. 273.15 K is the temperature at which water freezes. K = C + 273.15 At 273.15 K, C = 0 and you have fresh ice.freezesfreezes.
I think you might have wanted to tell us a little more information. It may be of use to know that absolute zero, 0 K = -273 C; the freezing point of water 0 C =273 K, and the boiling point of water, 100 C = 373 K
It boils at 373 degrees kelvin. Kelvin is just Celsius plus 273. Water boils at 100C, 100+273=373, so 373K.
0 degrees Celsius, 273 degrees Kelvin, 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
0 ºC = 273 K
The water melts
K= C + 273 Example- the freezing point of water is 0 c 0 + 273= 273. So water freezes at 273 k
To convert Kelvin to Celsius - the given temp in K minus 273 To convert Celsius to Kelvin - the given temp in C plus 273 I hope this is the one u r expecting and it helps u !!
273 K
The temperature of 273 K is equivalent to 0 degrees Celsius, which is the freezing point of water. At this temperature, water transitions from liquid to solid, or freezes.

To convert 0 degrees Celsius to Kelvin, simply add 273.15. So, 0 degrees Celsius is equal to 273.15 Kelvin.
The correct formula for converting from kelvins to degrees Celsius is C = K - 273. So, to convert 95 K to degrees Celsius, you would do C = 95 - 273 = -178 degrees Celsius.
The equivalent is 273 K.

You must insert the temperatures, in Kelvin, into the formula. Freezing point of water: 273 K; boiling point of water: 373 K. Thus, you get a Carnot efficiency of (373 - 273) / 373, or about 27%.
deg K means Kelvins...it is the standard temp used in chemistry. in order to get Kelvins from Celsius...just add 273 to the Celsius and you will get kelvin...i dont know about farheninheit though.
