The Last Straw is about Greg and how his father is going to send him to Military School. Greg tries to get out of it by joining Soccer but he hates it. Then Boy Scouts because his father thinks that he is too much of a wimp. While he is doing that Greg is also trying to go out or talk to Holly Hills. Rodrick is being annoying to Greg as usual and Manny finds his blanket named Tingy after Dad throwing all of his Blinkeys out.
