After it flees from Lake Verity, it becomes a Roaming Pokémon. Therefore, it can be anywhere in Sinnoh where there is grass. You can track it by using your Pokétch's map.
On a side note, if you accidentally K.O. Mesprit instead of catching it, it is not lost forever, as was the case in previous generations with Legendary Pokémon. All you have to do to make it respawn is defeat the Elite Four again. After that, it will reappear at Lake Verity, where you can make it a Roaming Pokémon once more.

MaxineAs you may already know, Mesprit will teleport all around Sinnoh. If you kill/ make Mesprit faint, Mesprit WILL NOT reappear again. Like all legendary/ rare pokemon, she will be gone forever unless you restart the game or use an action reply/ GameShark. If you did kill here, sorry about you bad luck.

What do you do if mesprit is not at lake verity?
If you've already spoken to Mesprit and it's flown away you need to track it on the Marking Map app on your Poketch. Go to where the flashing black symbol is and try to catch Mesprit when it appears. It's best if you have a really fast Pokemon with Mean Look and Hypnosis or something else that can send Mesprit to sleep. Then keep trying to catch it. Or just use your Master Ball if you don't need it for anything else.
