Where do you find hard leather strips in Avatar the Last Air Bender?

You can earn those strips by defeating enemies. When you defeat enemies, you can earn anything from coins, armor items, health and/or chi medicines, herbs, and crafting materials such as silk, leather strips, honey, herbs and more. To see how much you have and/or need, just go to the inventory. You can also create hard leather strips by going to either the crafter or the herbalist. Each hard leather strip requires 1 regular leather strip and a jar of honey. So if you have more honey and leather strips than you do hard leather strips, just go to a crafter and you'll get the mission done faster

When defeating enemies, you earn things like money, armor, health medicine, chi medicine, herbs for crafting, silk, honey, metal sheets, leather strips, hard leather strips and much more. You can also make hard leather strips by going to either the crafter or herbalist. For one hard leather strip, you need 1 pot of honey and 1 regular leather strip. If you don't have all of the necessary items on you, simply just explore around and defeat more enemies until you get the right amount. You can see how much you have/need by going to the inventory
