You go into the Boyleland volcano cave on the left. Not the other side you had to unlock. Once you go in, go up the steps and catch the drifloon to go across the gap. Catch the drifloon to the bottom across the gap, then head north through the cave. Go across the new gap with drifloon. Go up the stairs and follow the walkway to some stairs that go down. There's your magmortar.
I suggest going to almia castle and catching RegiIce with it.
You can catch Galade on the ninth floor of the Altru building. Take him to the end of the Chroma ruins to get Registeel.
