On August 25, 1994 the Civic Arena roof opened to the Space Odessy theme song while the Phantoms played the Minnesota Arctic Blast. It was the first time the stainless steel dome was opened for a professional hockey game.
Gables in House ConstructionA gable on a house is the triangular end of a house with a pitched or angled roof. The number of gables on a house depends on the construction of the roof; the standard "box-shaped" house with a non-hip roof will have 2 gables. A gable can also refer to the wall containing the gable end as defined above. Also note that this type of pitched or angled roof is also known as a "gable roof."Gable is my last name so how is that possoble?

Mellon Arena (formerly the Civic Auditorium and Civic Arena, nicknamed The Igloo) is an arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is named for Mellon Financial, which purchased the naming rights in 1999 and was the world's first major indoor sports stadium with a retractable roof. It primarily serves as the home to the Pittsburgh Penguins, the city's National Hockey League (NHL) franchise, though the Penguins will be moving to its new arena, the Consol Energy Center at the start of the 2010-2011 season.
It was originally built to house the Civic Light Opera, because the dome design would create great acoustics.
find a spy and then on the top of a roof

The one difference is that an arena has a roof.
Many times. Contrary to popular belief, the roof worked fine. It was the Penguins who added the extra large scoreboard, causing it to no longer open in 1995. I attended at least three concerts there with the roof open in the 80s. And drove by it with the roof open often. The roof opened almost completely and silently,in about 2 minutes. A true marvel to watch and awesome to see a concert with it open. Pittsburgh dropped the ball on tearing down a building that was a marvel. No surprise.
The roof at each goal end opens. Or is capable of opening. It is currently faulty and has been since it opened. There are imagesof it open. You may recall last year on sky the nationwide ads had a clip of the staduim screens with the roof open
The Bud Walton Arena is the 'Basketball Palace of Mid-America'. It is 301,000 square feet and is 4.5 acres under roof.
In 1983 the roof collapsed from heavy snow load.
Perth Arena in Australia will be used for tennis matches, it will also be used for basketball gamesa, and concerts. It has a retractable roof, should be finished by mid 2012.
The last one. The last piece of straw is what you need to complete the roof.
