I am a personal friend of Jay's; I've known him a long long time. There are a couple erroneous public records that say he is 52 with an August birth date; this misinformation crops up in forums like this every year or so.

Jay's friends like to joke with him that he should just go along with it and be the world's hottest 52 year old man. I've told him myself that I would find that extremely sexy! Maybe that's because I'm already an old lady.

The truth though, is much more mundane... Jay has not discovered the fountain of youth. He actually is very much younger than 52; so we won't be setting the house on fire with his half century birthday cake for quite a few years yet.

And his real birthday is March 23, not August. As for the exact year... it's more fun to leave it a mystery. It's very entertaining to hear people speculate that he might even be near 70 years old! LOL
