Jon Gnagy was a television art instructor later branching out into ( learn to draw) kits and art supplies. Gnagy"s methodology was based in large part on the Five Platonic solids- which he held were vital to learn to draw in perspective. These are: ( modern, the original Platonics were somewhat different : Sphere, cube, cone, cylinder, and Pyramid. (H"MM. I can imagine a Gnagy monument incorporating all five- which would be weird looking, say a pyramid in the center of a park-like thing- and four balls at the four boundary corners, etc... He did teach still-lifes such as Harvest Time- but I am not aware of a Strawberry creek.

The only art-instruction television program I can recall was Jon Gnagy"s Learn To Draw ( possibly given some other handles such as Jon Gnagy"s Art class or studio) in different broadcasting zones- there were also kits and art supplies peddled after the show. Gnagy made much of the doctrine of the Five Platonic Solids- that nobody could draw in perspective without a solid drawing technique of these Five Basic shapes- Sphere, Cube, Cone, Cylinder, and Pyramid. actually the original Platonic 5 were somewhat different- this is the modern Five Platonics. Doctrine was boring and somewhat unpopular- rather like Morse Code. Cannot recall anything like a Doodlebug- doodle does suggest drawing, though. Gnagy died in the seventies- possibly show survives on reruns...
