William Penn's city plan was radical for its time, but is common design today in all cities. His plan for a green area that would surround the city, became the outline of the modern suburb. He accurately predicted the city would need to have a semi-urban area for the middle class, and that the city, once established, would grow rapidly.

On its surface, the movie 'Philadelphia' is set in Philadelphia. It is about a lawyer who is fired from his firm when it is discovered he has AIDS and his ensuing lawsuit.
