The most famous home associated with American Marilyn Monroe is the house she died in. The Brentwood home was recently sold for three and a half million dollars.
On August 5, 1962, at 4:25 am, LAPD sergeant Jack Clemmons received a call from Dr. Ralph Greenson, Monroe's psychiatrist, saying that Monroe was found dead at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. She was 36 years old.

Marilyn Monroe resided in apartment 13E, on the 13th floor of 444 E. 57th Street at Sutton Place in Manhattan. She and Arthur Miller resided there from August 1957, and Marilyn was still a resident in this apartment at the time of her death in August 1962 (she had by then become bi-coastal). The apartment was a large classic 6 with formal living and dining, foyer with black and white spanish tiles, and a study; overlooking the East River. The building is a 15 story brick pre-war white glove building in an exclusive enclave of high dollar properties.
