Well I have 2 pokemon that can sweep the elite four if you train them up a bit now in my opinion unfezant sucks so I usually get Archen and evolve it to Archeops at level 37 and I get a Scraggy that evolves into Scrafty at level 39 now because Scrafty is fighting type he is super effective against Grimsley (Dark type user) and he is also a dark type which is super effective against Shauntal (Ghost type user) and Caitlin (Psychic type user) the only 1 left is Marshal (Fighting type user) which can be taken down by Archeops' Acrobatics which is 1 of the best moves ever I'm not sure about the *champions* team I say it like that coz I don't want to spoil anything

Unfortunately, there are no best Pokemon. BUT, Scrafty is good against 3/4 of the elite four members, (Caitlin, Shauntal, and grimsley) and if you are fighting Alder too (you must beat the game to do this), Scrafty can defeat Vanilluxe and Boufallant. I recommend a decent psychic type against Marshal. If you are facing Alder, a Fire type (Preferably Emboar, Volcarona, or Chandelure) would be recommended for his Escavelier and Accelgor. To finish him, bring either an Ice type with ice and water attacks or a water type with water and ice attacks to defeat Druddigon and his Star Pokemon Volcarona. I would suggest Scrafty to have a moveset with fighting and dark moves such as this -payback -high jump kick -crunch -brick break IF you are facing them for the second time, substitute payback with head smash. bring many hyper potions, ethers and elixers for Scrafty, as he will lose pp during the course of the battles. Be careful with head smash and high jump kick, because they can give you recoil. Good Luck!^_^
