'The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down'
In 1937 Dave Franklin co-wrote with Clif Friend the
novelty song, 'The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down' which became
the very popular and memorable 'Looney Tunes' THEME song.
Hey there everybody, it's a looniful day
To have a little fun the Baby Looney Tunes way
It's lots to do at Granny's house
Games to play and balls to bounce
And jump and slide and holler Hurray!
Sylvester, Bugs, and Daffy
Taz and Lola too
Tweety's such a sweety
Now all we need is you
Hey there everybody, it's a looniful day
To play the Baby Looney Tunes way!
