The resolution in "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" occurs when Percy successfully retrieves the stolen lightning bolt and returns it to Zeus, thus preventing a war among the gods. This act proves his innocence and earns him recognition as a hero. Additionally, Percy discovers his true parentage as the son of Poseidon and gains a better understanding of his powers and responsibilities as a demigod.
The Golden Fleece is bought to Camp Half Blood and it restores the magical borders of the camp. Right at the end it is discovered that the fleece worked a bit too well and Thalia, daughter of Zeus comes back to life.
Percy, Annabeth, and Grover return the Lightning bolt to Zeus. Percy gives Hades' his helmet that allows him to be invisible back in exchange for his mom. Then Sally Jackson (Percy's mom) uses Medusa's head to turn the smelly Gabe into stone and sells him to pay for a new apartment, tuition for Percy, and college tuition for herself.
Percy gets back the lightning bolt and returns it to Zeus right before the solstice.
