It depends on what kind of Pokemon you are using. if it has a higher attack, I may recommend a physical move like Thunderpunch or Thunderfang, if it has it. However, either Thunderbolt or Thunder are good moves to use if it is on a Pokemon with a higher special attack. Thunder has higher power, but hits less than tbolt. I use Thunderwave the most because it causes paralysis and that lowers speed... but I am guessing that you are asking about moves that do damage.
