What happens at the end of the second hunger games book?

Gale and Peeta are not going to die. Petta will get tortured however district 13 is going to rescue him and the other people that were fighting in the arena. Unfortunatly when they bring him back the find him mentally unstable and he seems to remember katness as a enemy. After that president snow is going to be captured by star squad 451 which consits of Katniss, Gale, Peeta, Boggs, and other people however some people are gonna die in that squad and only Katniss, Petta, Gale and the camera crew are gonna survive. Prim is killed by being a medic in order to save children in the capital when Coin drops bombs on her and the children. President snow is ready for execution by Katniss however she fires her arrow from her bow at President Coin (district 3 president and Capital president) she dies president snows death is a mystery. Gale works in 2 Mrs Everdeen in 4. Katniss, Haymich, and Petta return to 12. In 20 years Katniss and Peeta have 2 children and they are taught about there mum and dad.

Katniss rebels against the capitol, finds out that President Snow isn't the one that's behind all the trouble, president coin is(youll meet her in the third) peeta marries katniss, they have two kids, and gale ends up in district 2. There is much more, but you'll have to read the book!

Peeta is captured by the capitol and is being tortured. District 12 is destroyed but luckily gale was able to save some people such as his family and prim and Katniss's mom but overall most of District 12 died. They are now living in District 13, which does exist and is lead by President Coin. They ask Katniss to be their "Mockingjay" in the revolution. She agrees. They eventually save Peeta and Johanna from the Capitol. When Peeta sees Katniss he runs towards her (what Katniss thinks is going to be a kiss) is actually him trying to choke her to death. Peeta hates Katniss because the capitol used tracker jacket venom to turn his thoughts about Katniss to fear and hatred. Gale and Katniss also have a romance going. Finnick and Annie are reunited and get married. It is revealed later that Annie is pregnant and has a boy. Katniss and others go into combat. President Coin sends Peeta to their team which makes Katniss think that Coin is trying to get Peeta to kill her. Almost all of the squad is killed trying to protect Katniss such as Finnick. Finnick is ripped to pieces by a lizard mutt. Peeta is finally coming back to his normal self. Him and Gale talk when they think Katniss is asleep and say that Katniss will choose the one she can't survive without. When they finally reach President Snow's mansion, children are lined up in front. They think it is Snow who did this so no one hurts the children to get to him. But then bombs drop down killing almost all the children. The bombs were designed by gale. A medical team from district 13 comes to help the children only about a minute later. Prim is in the medical team cause she is training to be a doctor. Another load of bombs is dropped, killing Prim

Katniss feels it is Gale's fault and cannot love him. The rebels win the war and Katniss gets to kill Snow. When the time comes, she doesn't. She shoots Coin instead, who was most likely the one who sent Prim into the front lines. Snow laughs and coughs up blood, dying as well. Because the new government doesn't know what to do with Katniss and Peeta, they send them back to district 12. Gale moves to district 2 for a fancy job and her mom leaves to district 4 for a medical job (she's faded out again after another sad death) The last sentences are:

Peeta: You love me. real or not real?

Katniss: Real.

In the epilogue it reveals that Katniss and Peeta get married and eventually have two kids. The last sentence of the epilogue is "But there are much worse games to play."

In chapter 3 of the novel The Hunger Games the main plot line is as follows. Katnis is taken into the custody of the capital and says goodbye to Prim, her mother, Peta's father, Madge who gives her the mocking jay pin, and Gale. She is taken onto the tribute train rich with capital luxeries and Haymitch arives quite drunk and procedes to throw up on the velvet carpet narrowly missing elffies shoes.

when she and peeta kill Cato by pushing him into the mutts the gamemakers change the rules(again) saying there is only going to be one winner and Katniss gets out the deadly Berry's that killed foxface and gives some to peeta and keeps some for her self..... and yes they are both ready to kill themselves but once the Barry's past her lips the gamemakers admittedly say okay we were joking there are two winners but katniss will never be sorryer for taking out the Berry's.
