Chapter nine is the middle of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. In this chapter, Harry and the rest of the Gryffindors attend their first flying lesson with the Slytherin's. Neville Longbottom falls off his broom and is taken to the hospital wing by Madam Hooch. Draco steals his remembrall and taunts Harry into flying after him to get it back. Harry is spotted catching the remembrall by Professor McGonagall, who invites him to join the Gryffindor Quidditch team as the Seeker.
Draco is stunned to find out that not only wasn't Harry expelled, but he was rewarded. Annoyed, he challenges him to a wizards duel in the trophy room that night. Harry and Ron sneak out of the common room but are found by Hermione Granger who tries to stop them, before finding herself locked out of the common room. They also stumble upon Neville who forgot the password and locked himself out too.
The four travel towards the trophy room but soon realise that Filch is after them and that Draco never planned on meeting them, he just wanted Harry to get caught breaking another rule and for him to be expelled. They manage to escape from Filch by hiding behind a locked door. Unfortunately for them, that locked door was the third floor corridor.
Inside they find Fluffy, a giant three-headed dog. They manage to run back to the dormitory where Hermione reveals that Fluffy was standing on a trap door, which means he is guarding something.
Dolores Umbridge left Hogwarts in the middle of the night by sneaking out of the hospital wing.
The sign of the deathly hallows is a triangle with a circle inside and thin line down the middle. Each shape represents one of the hallows. The triangle represents the cloak of invisibility, the circle is the resurrection stone and the line is the elder wand.
People should read Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows because while the books are fantastical, there are messages in the book that reflect our society. This book is also extremely well written, and the plot is thick and clever. You should read this book if you have read the first seven, if you enjoy longer novels, and if you enjoy a thriller as our hero tries to make the world a better place with his two friends.

As you may remember from either the book or the film, the Deathly Hallows symbol was made from three shapes: a triangle, a circle and a vertical line dividing both shapes by the middle. The triangle corresponds to the Invisibility Cloak, the vertical line corresponds to the Elder Wand and the circle to the Resurrection Stone.
James Potter is the oldest, Albus Severus Potter is the middle child and Lily Potter is the youngest.
It was the middle of a war, people die in wars.
Especially if it also has a vertical line in the middle, it may be a reference to the Deathly Hallows of Harry Potter.

"I mean we should tell them to get out. We don't want anymore Dobbies, do we? We can't order them to die for us---" There was a clatter as the basilisk fangs cascaded out of Hermione's arms. Running at Ron she flung them around his neck and kissed him full on the mouth. Ron through away the fangs and broomstick he was holding and responded with such enthusiasm that he lifted Hermione of her feet. Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger kiss in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in the middle of the Battle of Hogwarts. This seems an odd place to shout their undenying love for eachover, but Ron had startled Hermione by caring for the House-Elves, something she had been pleading him to do for at least three years.
