Sadly at the end of episode 51 or the movie- same thing.. Edward and Al meet up with there old body's and have to live on in the world we know instead of the world of alchemy. And they must live as ordinary people but with each other. Sorry this is not a very good explanation but the last one said " stupidity" and nothing else so i had to put something.
