Ummm... sry to the user tat wrote dis answer but i think he is asking wat the black Flute does in the pokemon game. Well, the black flute is supposed 2 act like a repel but IT IS COMPLETELY WORTHLESS! trust me, dont get it, u will still run into wild pokemon after using it. the leading pokemon in my party was a lvl 74 rayquaza. i used the black flute, walked 1 step, and a lvl 14 spinda popped out. 2 steps later, a magmar popped out. using the black flute is as good as using nothing. trust me, a bunch of max repels would be more worth it.
IN MUSIC: If you mean black as in color, it's probably wooden. Wooden black flutes and piccolos tend to have a richer tone than silver flutes.
