Find a company that sells wiring harnesses and they will be able to get a harness. Most of these include the wiring details. Look on eBay for 'Stereo Wiring Harness'
U would have to get ford radio removal keys and remove the radio and then u would have to buy a dash kit and a wire harness for ur ford zx3 install the kit wire ur harness to the pioneer it should be color coded and install. Now some of the focus harness looks like it is too small to work in the radio harness but it will fit even though it is smaller
disconnect the harness clip on the back of the deck for a couple minutes and then reattach it and you should be fine
no
1.unplug the two wiring harnesses from the back of stock radio 2. cut them both off, leaving yourself enough wire to connect the harness from your new pioneer 3. the yellow wire from the stock radio harness is the memory, red is positive, and the ground is the wide cable you unhooked from the middle of the stock radio the front speaker wires are integrated in the first harness of the stock radio (the one with the yellow wire)and the back speakeres are in the other harness for example there my be two purple with stripe and/or two brown with stripe if not you may have to just match them up by listening to witch two wires make wich speaker come on by adjusting the fade and right and left controls on your pioneer. 4. Now to make the pioneer fit into that huge hole, assuming you have the metal thing that the new pioneer slides and locks into, you just take some thin 1/8 inch plywood and cut a square to the size of the huge hole with a utility knife, you can make a pattern from the face of the old radio and acually use the two screws to attach the piece of wood with those just drill holes now use that metal thing that the pioneer slides into and cut the acual whole for the sterio the same size and that.(the metal thing has to slide in) 5. pull the wire harness and antenna out and hook then to the pioneer slide the pioneer into place and put the stock panel back on. DONE
You can, but it's hard because you may short wires because the pins on the wiring harness socket is small and easy to short out on other pins if the wires fray.
Not missing any wires. The red wire came out the harness and there's three open slots.
best buy or any similar store. also pretty much anywhere that sells car audio accessories.
Not to be rude but that is a BIG no!! You would think that it would be the easiest way but its not. With most pioneer CD receivers they come with a quick disconnect wiring harness. Not only that the colors on the wires are different. Granted they still have the same red, and black wires which are the ignition wire and the ground. the best solution to this would be to compare both manuals and compare the wires before you install the new system.
