Yes indeed, the is other games rather then pokemoncrater here is a website almost like pokemoncrater Pokemonbattlearena.net it's free you get to battle and catch Pokemon, get to battle other trainers online and gym leaders, once you beat the gym leaders you can catch legendary Pokemon. The Pokemon you can start with are the starters from the indingo, johto, and hoenn region you get 3000 pokecash and 1 credits. If you go on every day you get a credit every day credits are used to buy Pokemon.

Every time I go on pokemonbattlarena the home page looks like pokemoncrater and I think back when I started on October 26, 2005 I will allways remember pokemoncrater.

Actually there's quite a few free Pokemon Online games running around now (not sure how old this question is, it doesn't say). My preference is to stay away from TPPC, the User Interface is very frustrating and very clunky. Here are a couple that I just found through a web-search. Not sure how reliable they are, but they give a new person a look at what the game's like.

There is one, it is similar, but is sort of a bad quality game.

there is a Pokemon game called Pokemon volcano but now there is one that you have to download were you are in the Pokemon gameboy game.srry cant remember what it is called. :)
