WHEE! I love Indiana, so I went on it like 50 times.
I don't want to spoil it for you, so don't read below if you don't want to find out!
First, before you ride, you have to walk, and walk, and walk, and walk...
Then, after walking, you enter this room, where people, like, wait until they can get on the ride. You watch a "safety" video which is narrated by Sallah. You watch little clips with him and others on the ride.
Someone eventully comes into the room and says, "Please do this, Blah Blah Blah," and you know.
They make you walk up some steps, and over here, and a few more turns and then you get into these little lines. They have automatic doors that will allow you to get in. (You may have to wait a while, but they make it go fast enough)
A worker blah blah blahs some more and than the ride starts. As you go in, a person thing that is supposed to be Indy (even though he looks like he is turning 99 tomorrow) warns you to be carefull and he appears to be holding back something behind some doors, so we have enough time to, "escape."
A couple of skulls and such and then you are off! It isn't the most fast ride in the universe though! I don't remember all of it, but you here the Raiders music most of the time, and you may want to wear a jacket because it gets cold!
You go over the river of "lava" that you see in Temple Of Doom, and then there is a huge snake that looks like it is about to kill you, and then you go into the tunnel where these darts shoot out (don't worry. they make the air noises and you will probably duck because of instinct." Finally you take a turn and see Indiana. I couldn't tell if he was "tied" up there or if he was holding on. It stops so people can "talk" to him, but don't get out!
Indy says a few things, and then you see the boulder. It's projected to look like it's about to hit you, but, Indy saves the day! You go down and then appear right back where you started! (With everybody looking at you, of course!)
This isn't a very very scary ride, but it is fun!
HAVE FUN IN Disney!!!
If you have a bad back or with someone who does don't go on this ride. I did and hurt the rest of the day.
To ride the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland California you must be 46 inches (117cm) or taller.
There's a few of them, but the most famous one would have to be Snow White's Scary Adventures
... a golf cart?Honestly, I have no idea. Perhaps the monorail, but I'm not sure it operates before the park opens, even for hotel guests, and also I would definitely consider it "a Disneyland ride" that happens to have a stop outside Disneyland as well, as opposed to "not a Disneyland ride" that happens to have a stop inside Disneyland.
If any ride at Disneyland is closed, it is either because the ride broke down or it's under yearly maintenance

Type in the question, "what is the Indiana Jones ride like?" on wiki answers. I filled in the answer there. I told them all about it. (Don't read it if you want to be suprised!) And yes, there is an Indy ride in Disney land. It is next to the tarzan tree house thing.
